Bonnie Fitzgerald is a professional mosaic artist and educator. She is the founder and owner of Maverick Mosaics, a studio dedicated to teaching the art of mosaics. Bonnie teaches at many locations, including the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and leads international workshops and travel adventures. Her company also fabricates architectural mosaics and designs and creates commissioned mosaic artwork for interior designers, landscape architects, and private clients. As a past executive board member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists Bonnie has long been instrumental in raising awareness of mosaic as an art form. She is the author of 300+ Mosaic Tips, Techniques, Templates and Trade Secrets, also available from Trafalgar Square Books.
