Looking inside it on Amazon, I see several easy piano pieces I have enjoyed on piano and would love to play on mandolin. Add in the heuristics they discuss for material weakening over time of the various glider materials and your desire to hammer through rough air or pop the airbrakes to prevent an overspeed get diminished!
Once whilst practing spins, I didnt quite stop the spin with the rudder, before pushing the stick foward to recover so that I ended up in an inverted spin with the ground still coming closer! Lucky it was an aerobatic glider with thick draggy wings so I didnt go into overspeed when I pulled back through the vertical but after reading their book, other options might have been possible and or preferable?
The price of one book versus your life is an easy Cost-Benefit Analysis to undertake. If I could do 1/2 stars, this would even be a 4 1/2 star.
