Quentin Wells has worked and taught in the video production and computer areas since 1970. Formerly general manager of Career Research Corporation and FilmWorks, an audio visual company, Wells holds a degree in Political Science and has written numerous instructional and training manuals as well as more than 75 documentary and educational video programs. He has trained teachers and administrators in school districts and colleges across the country. In addition to technical writing, he has also published a novel based on his early career as a CIA officer. Now retired, Wells most recently worked as Student Media Center Director at Salt Lake Community College.
In this second book of the Kristen Conner series, Kristen returns from a temporary leave of absence spent in an FBI training center. There are serious issues tackled and real emotions explored, but all-in-all it is a fun, light, enjoyable story that will keep the reader entertained from the first page to the last. There is absolutely no content in that book, just generalities to fill a book.
I returned it and got reimbursed.. It's for the well-versed in the subject. I have bought copies, as required reading, for my 17 and 18 year old daughters and have recommended "Soft is the New Power" for friends and co-workers female and male alike.. The only problem I noticed is one error with a recipe measurement (omitted) and a soy product was listed as "beneficial" for blood type "B". This is no encyclopedia of a billion stitches, but a book focused tightly upon reproducing Redoute's beautiful botanical prints in "thread painting."
