Jake - at least he thinks that's his name - wakes up in an empty house, stark naked, with no idea how he got there. In fact, he can't even remember his past. He's heard of people showing up in odd places with amnesia, but it quickly becomes clear, that's not the case. He's either in heaven, or hell, or some place in between. He only remembers his life one event at a time, so as to deal with left-over issues. Things happen, some beautiful, others to open his eyes. It's a chance to get things right.
