This book is intended to expand the beginning to intermediate mandolin player’s Classical Music appreciation and repertoire. Each piece is arranged in standard notation and in tablature. I have included two versions of each piece: A simpler version with only the melody, and a chord-melody arrangement. The pieces vary in difficulty and are arranged in alphabetical order by the composer’s name. You may work on these in any order. Featuring the music of: J.S. Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, Franz Joseph Haydn, Franz Liszt, Felix Mendelssohn, Leopold Mozart, W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Antonio Vivaldi, Richard Wagner, Georges Bizet, Friedrich Burgmüller, Muzio Clementi, Carl Czerny, Anton Diabelli, Jean-Jaques Dubois, Edvard Grieg, Cornelius Gurlitt, Johann Philipp Kimberger, Anatol Liadov, Carl Maria von Weber.
Robert Anthony is a Multi-Instrumental Musician and has worked with Gene Simmons, A&E Television, The Howard Stern Show, Friends of Distinction, Ron Keel, Andy Byrd, Billy Truitt, and many more. Robert has been teaching students of Guitar, Piano & Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Drums & Percussion, Mandolin, Music Theory, Composition, Aural Skills, for greater than 25 years.
The author also explores the human impact on local fauna, concluding that climate change (rendering large mammals such as mammoths more vulnerable) combined with improved hunting to decimate them.
Once farming methods were perfected, they spread rapidly with their promises of stability of supply and occasional surpluses. That leads to strange looking reference to self-dual frames and tight frames when the book never talked about frames.
I also wonder why the authors did not cite Boyd's great book. Hanson's chosen scenario is one where humans upload their minds to computers to create human emulations or ems. It requires practice and judgement to use, but it develops a better sense of what is happening around you. Actually, I am a food lover and I always like to learn new recipes.
