Bjarne Riis is a Danish former professional road cyclist and winner of the 1996 Tour de France. He is now the team owner and manager of Danish UCI ProTour squad Team Saxo Bank and has managed riders to wins in the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia. He remains an influential figure in the cycling world.
Since reading it several months ago, I still find my thoughts constantly drifting to this strange world and its strange implications.. The art and the story were compelling and definitely worth my time! I keep thinking about it. The little child in the pictures is perpetually wearing bright red pjs, rendering him much easier to pick out from illustration to illustration. Unlike anything I've read before. My son loved this book, but of course he loves anything that has to do with planes, trains, cars or monster trucks. The essays can be helpful for new teachers, or veterans of the music classroom at all levels. Benefiel's description and graphics of the "Individual Spiritual Transformation" and "Organizational Transformation" are perfectly illustrated. It ain't no cottage garden!
